CANDY CORN- Adopted

Just in time for fall….Miss Candy Corn has arrived!

This sweet, friendly and sassy little girl is ready for her forever home and she is hoping it is with you.

Born in late July, Candy Corn was rescued with her siblings and have since been in foster care getting a lot of love, play time and cuddles.

Candy Corn is very friendly, gets along with other cats and dogs and will fit in nicely with a fun, loving family.

This kitten tested positive for FIV. As per Cornell Feline Health Center chances are that it is a FALSE positive -“Infected mother cats transfer FIV antibodies to nursing kittens, so kittens born to infected mothers may receive positive test results for several months after birth. However, few of these kittens actually are or will become infected.”

The kitten will be retested by Last Hope after 6 months of age. Regardless, even if it is a true positive, FIV is not easily transmitted to other cats, so most FIV cats can live with non-FIV cats and never spread the virus.  Please feel free to contact us for more information.

If you are interested in adopting Candy Corn, please fill out an adoption application from the home page.
