Cisco – ADOPTED!!!!!

Cisco was discovered in the knick of time; his life and mobility were saved. Now he needs a “forever owner” to discover him!!

In August Cisco came intoBabylon Town Shelter as a stray about 5-6 months old that had just been hit by a car. He had 2 broken legs but one break was not serious. The town shelter took him to an orthopedic specialist who inserted a plate to secure the fracture in his femur. Later he moved to Last Hope and spent 4 months in foster care in a loving home with kids and a Bichon, while he had another surgery because the first plate didn’t hold. Presently he has 2 plates in the same leg which is healing nicely. His surgeon has given Cisco the OK to run.

Cisco has grown to 58 lbs. at a year old. He may fill out a little more. He has the look of a brindle Dane – however, he will stay much smaller. He is a loving boy, yet apprehensive about strangers at first…once he relaxes, he relishes attention. He didn’t get to be a puppy because  of his injuries and is making up for lost time. He likes to play with other dogs but can be goofy and pounces, not knowing his size, so small dogs are not suitable pals. He will need a dog savvy owner to help assure him about strangers. Cisco takes correction well, and has an excellent “sense of guilt”.
