Fancy this ! CLANCY is an affectionate, handsome cat.
He came to Last Hope in January via the animal hospital his rescuer brought him for an exam & neuter.
CLANCY is approximately
5 years old and tested FIV + while at this veterinary clinic which then reached out to Last Hope to take CLANCY.
He is settling nicely inside Free Roamer Room #3 at our Wantagh Adoption Center.
CLANCY, nicknamed “Mr. Handsome ” by volunteers is extremely friendly & loves attention from his new peeps.
Veterinarians now say that FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives.
They are not contagious to other cats unless they are aggressive & bite.
CLANCY gets along with our other free roamer room residents, and was abandoned at a colony where there were other cats.
