DAISY- female Beagle-Adopted

” They love me. They love me not. They love me. I hope they do….”

This is what DAISY the Beagle is pondering after a few weeks at Last Hope & not being wanted by any potential adopters.

DAISY is a tiny Beagle Beauty…she’s about 18 months old & only 20 lbs.If she is placed with another pup, DAISY needs a low key dog. If the dog approaches her with lots of enthusiasm or energy, DAISY gets too scared.

She made the long trip from a Kentucky Shelter b/c the word has gotten back on the “Beagle Grapevine” that Long Islanders treat their Beagles like family rather than hunting dogs & breeding stock that must earn their keep in rural parts of the South.

DAISY hopes she didn’t hear wrong info about Long Island, and that her special people will be stopping by soon. She would love to be an only dog, or the K 9 companion of a mellow dog in residence.
