KATANA- female Pit mix-Is in a Foster-Home during heartworm treatment

?KATANA Needs Foster-to- Adopt Home while she is treated for heartworm.?
?Last Hope has 3 Heartworm + Dogs right now each Needing Foster-to-Adopt Homes.
Yes, Heartworm is Heartbreaking, especially if not treated.?
One of these sweet gals is KATANA who came to Last Hope because of her need for heartworm treatment.
*We hope YOU will Spread the Word. *
She will do best in a Foster-to-Adopt Home while she undergoes treatment to rid her of deadly heartworm. She should be kept calm after each immiticide treatment as a precaution to prevent a pulmonary embolism while the insidious heartworms dissolve.
?Last Hope pays for the diagnostic tests, heartworm treatment & all vet care until KATANA is done with HW treatment & the adoption is finalized. We continue monitoring further testing until each treated dog is declared heartworm- free.?
?KATANA is a pretty 1 yr old Pitty mix about 45 lbs. She was a stray in Georgia & had no chance of getting the life-saving treatment there. She adores people and also likes other dogs. She goes belly up to them.
?If you can see it in your heart to foster- to-adopt or merely foster HW+ KATANA, please contact Letty at lettycanals@gmail.com.
?And just a reminder, make sure your own dogs are up-to-date
