“Maximus” is an interesting-looking Hound/Lab mix about 2 years old. He is black with a hint of brindle, and has legs that are slightly stubby in that Basset sort of way.

This outgoing fellow comes to Last Hope from a shelter in Kentucky. Supposedly he was picked up as a stray near the subway according to his paperwork. Don’t know about you…but we are surprised to learn of a subway in rural Kentucky unless they are referring to the sandwich chain…Knowing that “Maximus” is a Hound mix and how fond Hounds are of food, the hero shop seems more likely. Bet that “Maximus” would agree. Bet that “Maximus” would like to come to your house for some home cooking!
