NIKKI is a very pretty, stray Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy- only 7 months old. She doesn’t come to Last Hope directly from the South…instead she walked over to Last Hope from the EAST (next door Hempstead Town Shelter). Our hunch is she is from a rescue transport and was discarded in a rural Southern area the way so many Coonhounds are.

NIKKI gets along with kids and other dogs. Right now she is a big puppy and needs someone who will be consistent and patient with her. This way she will be transformed into the well-mannered and gorgeous dog we know she has the potential to be.
