October’s “Pet of the Month”

JOHN

GOT LAP?   Serious question, because when it comes to laps I mean business.  It’s very simple: You sit, I’m on it.  I’m a rather large and lovable all-black 3 year old cat who somehow ended up in a shelter, and now I’m hanging out at the Cat Adoption Center in Huntington.  It’s nice here and the volunteers are supplying me with tons of love but truth be told? Not enough lap-time for me.. This is where I’m hoping you come in. If interested, call Lucy at 917-494-5397 & ask for John.  I’m waiting.

ALANNA

Hello there!  My name is Alanna and I am a gorgeous 10 month old orange tabby that is in need of a home.  I am sweet and gentle and  I love to be petted.  I also happen to be a female which is rare because 75% of orange tabby cats are male.  I was rescued from the streets where I was struggling to survive by kind people who did not want to see me suffer any longer.  The volunteers give me so much loving and Last Hope is going to make sure that I find a wonderful home with people that will love me forever!  That sounds so nice!  I can hardly wait…. Please come down and visit me at PetSmart in Huntington! UPDATE…Our Alanna was finally adopted!!!!

NOTE TO ALL PET OWNERS – while chocolate may be delicious to humans it can be very dangerous to your pet. Please click here to learn more pet safety tips from the ASPCA.
