It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I inform you of the sudden passing of Parker.  He died from acute liver failure.

I fostered Parker after he had knee surgery.  While he was here for rehabilitation, he was very good in letting us do his exercises with him.  He never complained, never gave us any trouble and would even enjoy petting & handling.  Unfortunately after his recovery, he reverted back to being a recluse.

He loved other cats (not so much people) so I thought he would do well at our Wantagh adoption center in the free roamer room.  He was brought over & as the volunteers there know, did not want any part of either the people or the other cats.

Parker was a beautiful grey & white kitty.  I hope he knows how much he was loved even though he didn’t allow us to show it.  And I know that he is in a happier place.
