Take a look at “Petie” showing off his ears and his compact Cattle Dog look….He’s a young 44 pound sweetie who was an owner surrender at an overcrowded Kentucky shelter.

His adoption prospects were quite grim until he was added to a transport to Last Hope on Long Island.

“Petie” is athletic, and would make a great companion for someone who would like to nurture and train a young, willing to learn dog.
