Popeye – Chihuahua Mix with One Eye – ADOPTED 8/16/15

Meet “Popeye”…
No, not the sailor with the spinach.

This “Popeye” is a sweet, soprano Chihuahua mix (only 9 lbs.), now at Last Hope. He was a stray hit by a car in Lindenhurst in June. Babylon Animal Shelter sent him to the emergency clinic where his damaged eye was removed and his fractured jaw temporarily sent with a wire. (The vets neutered him then too.) He eats fine. In a few weeks we will find out if the wire comes out or stays in, depending on how “Popeye’s” jaw healed.

Nothing stops this cutie…He was a wonderful Last Hope ambassadog at the Long Island Vettes Classic Car Show and loves to sit on your lap for as long as you will allow him to stay. Meantime, “Popeye” needs a loving home where he can stay forever and a day.
