Our “Sonny” is a handsome 1 year Retriever mix with the handsome expression and eye make-up of a Rhodesian Ridgeback, but in a smaller frame ( about 50 pounds). Super loving boy, good with other dogs, who comes from an overcrowded Kentucky shelter. “Sonny” supposedly was an owner surrender because his former owners had an “inadequate” yard. He can entertain himself with toys, and then quietly put himself to bed in his kennel..the makings of a mellow family dog.
