Hi, I’m Toby Cavanaugh, and I’m one of the nicest, most mellow cats you’ll ever meet!  I’m also gorgeous, being a Maine Coon mix with the softest fur!  I was born in Freeport, where I had several siblings who were rescued as kittens, put up for adoption, and subsequently found their forever homes.  For some reason, I was overlooked, so I spent about year and a half waiting for my chance to become a Last Hope cat and find a home of my own.  I have to say that I learned a lot during that time!  I found that I love people!  I rub around the legs of anyone who is close to me, just looking for attention and some quality petting.  I’m quiet and gentlemanly, making me the perfect companion.  And I even like other cats!  I seem to be very much in demand among the volunteers here at PetSmart, as they’re always taking me out of my cage to stroke me – a very good reference, don’t you think?  As much as I love all the care and attention here, what I’d most like in all the world is a real home of my own!  Perhaps YOU would like to share yours with me.  I’m waiting patiently to meet you!
