We received a letter from Teddy Bear’s family…
To The Guardian Angels of Cats at PetSmart:
This month is Teddy Bear’s 5th birthday. We adopted him 4 years ago. I think his name was Milo then.
I had been intending to adopt a black cat – always wanted one. While shopping, we locked eyes across the floor of the store. I walked right over to his cage and that was it. He joined our 2 dog, 2 cat family (with myself, son and husband, too).
As you can see he is a rather large animal, with a long, fluffy tail. His nickname is Big Bushy (and Baby Bear, Tiddly Wink, Butter Bag, etc.). He is very affectionate. He has learned to open doors by jiggling door knobs, standing on his hind paws. He loves to chase the laser pen a lot, and to burrow under the covers of nicely made beds.
Ted likes to lie on his back and twist like a DNA strand. I call him Helix the Cat. He’s a wonderful member of our family. Though he is such a big cat, Teddy has a high-pitched meow. He likes his ears rubbed, and doesn’t mind being squeezed.
You all do a great job for cats like Teddy Bear. You put them in the arms of people like us who love the fuzzy part of our families. God bless you all!
