A Special Dog Duo- COLLIN & REILLY-Son & his Dad-Special Request
These sweet dogs have been through so much sadness & turmoil. We would like to place them together.
They belonged to a 49-year-old woman with a doctorate in education who died last month from Covid complications- Such a reminder that victims of the pandemic are all ages and come from all walks of life.
And to add to the sadness, the peripheral victims are the beloved pets they leave behind and bewildered.
As dogs in his household, COLLIN & REILLY are quite confused about the changes in their lives. When the police called, they were taken to Babylon Shelter where they were given TLC while some of their histories have been pieced together.
Last Hope offered to help in the re-homing
of these orphan pets together.
Babylon Shelter learned COLLIN is Beagle mix REILLY’s son. His Mom was an English Bulldog who is listed in the vet records but probably died some time ago.
COLLIN is 4 years old while Dad REILLY is 8. COLLIN is quite attached to his Papa & stops shaking when Dad is near. Both boys are lovable to people, and like other dogs.
REILLY was neutered yesterday and COLLIN was neutered before going to the shelter.
We are hoping to restore the love & stability COLLIN & REILLY have lost. And to place them in a loving home TOGETHER in memory of their beloved owner.
? And WILLOW, the cat also orphaned when their Mom passed away, was recently ADOPTED from Last Hope.
To meet COLLIN & REILLY by appointment, please complete and submit a dog adoption application found on the Last Hope website homepage.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
