“Lucille” comes to Last Hope from STAR in Kentucky. This group rescues dogs from the overcrowded shelter in Morehead, KY and surrounding areas.

She is a beautiful, tri-colored Collie/Border Collie mix pup, about 8 months old and a slim 23 pounds. Several months ago “Lucille” was found as a stray along with her brother and sister.. Her skin is on the mend. It was irritated (perhaps poor nutrition or allergies). STAR placed “Lucille” in a KY foster home where she loved attention, hiking and playing with the other dogs. She’s submissive and knows the “SIT” command. “Lucille” has the makings of a lovely family dog.
