MIMI- young Chihuahua- had 2 knee surgeries-ADOPTED

MIMI Needed Knees.
She Got Them.
Now MIMI Needs a Forever Home.

MIMI Had Her 2nd Knee Last Week & is Healing Well in her Foster Home.

You may recall MIMI came to Last Hope in early Feb from Brookhaven Town Shelter.

Supposedly she had been found as a stray in Mastic with her 2 back knees locked in the frog position.

The stray part was hard to believe because she was tiny with no fur in winter weather & she could hardly walk.

She was frightened & came to Last Hope with a tiny black kitten as her temporary comfort companion.

She was diagnosed with luxating patellae in the most severe state. Her knees were stuck in that position.

An orthopedic specialist would fix one knee at a time with a 6 week or more recovery in between & after the 2nd knee repair.

The surgery estimate was about $7,000. Many kind Last Hope supporters on FB & other places helped us raise more than half with our MIMI NEEDS KNEES campaign.

Now MIMI is ready for a Forever Home. She likes other dogs & we know she Loves kittens.
She is only 1 yr old.

If MIMI is the Mini Chihuahua for you; please contact Last Hope .

I've found my forever home! Thank you!
