CHLOE-Adopted

CHLOE Had a Close Call….which was
part of the difficult life she had fending for herself in a feral colony.

This pretty tortie-about 6 yr old- entered our adoption program after a TNR clinic open to the public.
She’d been trapped at a cat colony and we noticed she seemed quite friendly.

It should have been smoother sailing for CHLOE after that, but she tested FIV positive which deters some adopters, even though she can still live a long, healthy life. (See FIV flyer in comment below.)

One day our vet felt a hard lump in her lower jaw. A simple surgery produced a BB shot from a rifle.

So not only was poor CHLOE fending for herself. …She was dodging BBs aimed at the feral colony too.

How can some people be so cruel?

CHLOE doesn’t hold a grudge. She loves our volunteers. She has more than earned the right to be a cherished cat -safe & warm inside a nice home.
