Best friends Dottie and Fiona were rescued from two different places – an empty lot covered with metal and glass pieces (D0ttie) and a life of hardship in a colony of feral cats (Fiona).  Last Hope took them in and saw to it that their medical needs were taken care of, then they spent some time in foster homes.  Dottie (estimated to have born in September, 2017) was the first to join the adoptable kitties in the free-roamers’ room at PetSmart, Huntington Station.  She was fine with the other cats yet quite shy with people.  Fiona (born around the end of May, 2018) arrived at PetSmart later that year and, when she joined Fiona in the “big room”, it was almost love at first sight!  Soon, the girls were snuggling together in a cat bed and grooming each other.  They are still a bit shy with people but do like to be brushed and petted gently.  They’re playful, too!  What they’re longing for now is a home together.  They would do best in a quiet home with no other pets and a loving family that will continue to care for them gently as they settle in to their forever home.

I've found my forever home! Thank you!
