Hi!  I’m Katie!  It’s so nice to “meet” you as you read all about me!  I’m sure you’ve noticed my pretty orange and white coloring and…especially…my lovely gold eyes.  I was found in Islip just after one of those huge snowstorms we had this past winter.  Where did I come from?  No one knows.  I was just there – freezing and so hungry.  Happily, my rescuer noticed me, scooped me up, took me home and gave me yummy food and a warm place to stay temporarily until I became a Last Hope cat.  Wow!  Was I lucky!  Now I’m hoping so much to move one more time, to a warm and loving home of my own.  I like people a lot and, in fact, I follow my human friends around.  I love to play with my toys and – in quieter times – to sit on a lap.  Why don’t you stop in to meet me in person?  I think you’ll find me just the kitty for whom you’re looking!
