ABBEY-female senior Chihuahua

?????ABBEY- Such a Big Tadoo over such a Tiny Dog. ?????
ABBEY is a senior Chihuahua who lived with her owners in public housing. The LI Town wound up removing ABBEY when the people were not following regulations.
A legal battle ensued lasting 6 months while Abbey waited at the Town Shelter. During her time in the shelter, she was diagnosed with bladder stones. The shelter paid several thousand $ for pre-diagnostics & her surgery to remove these medical meteors.
ABBEY is on special food to prevent more stones. She is about 10-11 years old. The Town Shelter asked Last Hope to take her when the court case was over so we’d find her a doting home.
She can be barky about people coming to the door, and thinks she is a “herding dog” when bicycles or cars go by.
Meanwhile, Abbey does well with our volunteers who treat her as if she were their own dog.
To make ABBEY “your own dog”, please complete and submit a dog adoption application found on the Last Hope website homepage, so you can meet her by appointment at Last Hope in Wantagh.
BONUS GIFT: You will receive the jar with the bladder stones surgically removed from ABBEY.
Gift wrap is optional.
