Last Hope has worked hard to revise its web site in the past two weeks in order to bring you as much information about our organization as possible. We hope that you like our new format and find the site easier to navigate. If you do not find what you need or are looking for, please let us know. Also, please let us hear what problems you may or may not be having trying to access the information you need. We are fine tuning every aspect of the site and welcome your input.
Thank you for being patient and supporting our past and future animal welfare work.

Stella – Last Hope Dog in Need
We are looking for a temporary foster home for Stella. Stella is about 4 to 5 years old, and came from the Town of Islip shelter, with a bad case of heart worm. She has had her first treatment, and is in need of a foster home for a month or two. She is gentle, sweet, and loving, and needs to be in a mellow environment, getting short walks and enjoying quiet surroundings. If you have any questions, or would like to help with Stella, please contact us at (516)509-0137 or (631)946-9528.

Need Before Boundaries Jewelry Sale – Flea Market
With the Labor Day weekend upon us, it’s hard to believe that the summer of 2010 is over.
Fall is one of the busiest fundraising times for Last Hope and we are gearing up for our jewelry sales, flea markets, auctions, golf outing, dinner, and Tree of Love ceremony.
Sept. 11th, from 10am-2pm, is our Fall Jewelry and Mini Flea Market at St. Bede’s Church 220 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791. As usual our very generous donors have given me lovely jewelry and “treasures” for our flea market. Don’t miss the bargains.
We are still collecting new and nearly new items for our Sept. sale. Since there are several events in the fall we can always use items which can be stored for future events.
Lunch is available on the 11th and if you haven’t tried St. Bede’s famous hot dogs and hamburgers then you’re in for a real treat.
Come early, shop, stay for lunch, and visit with the volunteers of Last Hope while we raise badly needed funds for our rescue mission.
If you would like to donate dog and cat food, we will have bins outside the hall on the 11th.
If you have any questions, or would like to donate items for the sale, please call us at (631)425-1884.
