“Lorenzo” is LOOKING for LOVE!
…and he would Do BEST in a sighthound-savvy home.
The jury is still out whether “Lorenzo” a stray puppy from Brookhaven Town Shelter on Long Island is a small Pharaoh Hound, large Cireneco Dell’Etna, Portuguese Podengo Medio or a Spanish Hound mix pup.
Another jury is still out about whether he is the littermate of “Pablo” the Ibizan Hound-looking puppy who showed up as a stray at Brookhaven (from same area) in July, and then came to Last Hope.
Meanwhile little “Lorenzo” is about 8 months old (same age as “Pablo” now), skinny even for a sighthound pup at 23 lbs. He’s a lovebug and very fast…He already knows some of the sighthound repertoire of tricks like using his front paws as hands. He has the makings of a great agility or lure coursing dog. Right now he is trying to steal the heart of someone who loves and appreciates the skinny hounds of Phoenician fame.
