“Mario” is the quintessential patient Pit. He spent almost 3 years as a stray in Brookhaven Town Shelter, and then came to Last Hope in January where he continues to wait for his special someone. Mario is about 4 years old now and weighs 68 pounds. He walks nicely on a leash, and plays well with Cisco, his Pit mix pal at the Last Hope Dog Center.

Each night when the volunteers go home and the lights are dimmed, Mario drifts off and dreams of having a home of his own. Won’t you help make Mario’s dream come true?
