Scout- female Treeing Walker Coonhound- ADOPTED

Poor SCOUT….so confused & upset.

Even though she’s been a Last Hope dog, she hadn’t spent time in a shelter before yesterday.

SCOUT (then PINK) was adopted in 2016 as a puppy directly from her Last Hope foster home.

She was returned to us this weekend. SCOUT is strong and pulls when you take her outside as she’s looking for her former family. Where is she? Where did they go?

Her family had to surrender her because their daughter, her two small children and dog moved in .

Scout was not happy with all these new people in her home. There were too many changes in her world at once. They were afraid she would snap at the two small kids.

Poor SCOUT…She is a 3 year old Coonhound who needs a calmer environment, and time to feel loved & wanted again. Help us find that home for SCOUT.

Update: After about 3 days, and with lots of volunteer TLC, SCOUT is beginning to eat, go for walks and go out in our play yard. We moved her to a glass meet n greet room so she is not in the kennel and gets lots of  petting & attention.
