Adorable “Spike” is still looking for a forever home.
This 3 month old cutie comes from our Plott mix ?puppy? litter rescued from danger. He remains in loving foster care with Last Hope volunteers and has become well-socialized by his Last Hope alumni pals-“Rosie” & “Bernardo”.
Cherry eyes are common and cosmetic but not painful in dogs. Our vet tried an non-surgical fix of his slight cherry eye when “Spike” was neutered, but the cherry eye popped out again. Last Hope will be providing cherry eye surgery for “Spike” to make his adorable face even more pup perfect. Please inquire before coming to see “Spike”. (Arrangements will have to be made before he can be seen a our Wantagh Adoption Center because “Spike” is in a foster home.)
